Join us at Hatch Art for a workshop where we'll make insects with Alice V. Schneider and Mary Fortuna. We'll use fabric, wire, beads, buttons, feathers and whatever materials we can gather to make all sorts of buggy creatures.
The workshop is open to adults, and children accompanied by a supervising adult.
The workshop will be easy enough for beginners, but more experienced artists will be able to make more elaborate insects from the basic materials.
Some materials will be provided. We'll bring simple fabrics, beads, feathers, yarn, buttons, corks, wires, pipe cleaners, little random objects and other materials you can use to make any kind of fancy bug you want to. We encourage you to bring any special materials you may want to use or share.
$30 per adult; Adult with child $45; adult with two children $60; Please, no children unless they are accompanied by a parent. Parent/adult must supervise their children.

PLEASE NOTE: We only have room for 15 people. The classroom gets really crowded and it gets hard to work, so we have to limit registration. We advise you to register ASAP to be sure there will be room for you.
