Domestic Wilds exhibits new work by Teresa Petersen and Anne Harrington Hughes. Petersen and Hughes explore the ways in which nature asserts itself in domestic spaces through collage, printmaking, assemblage, and installation. The artists employ images of everyday experience combined in compelling ways to create narratives that conjure the fantastic, mysterious, and unexplainable. Petersen and Hughes have worked together over several years in ways that aim to reconcile their personal lives with their art, and a desire to draw in the viewer to share in that quest.
