Proposals
Propose a future exhibit at a Hatch-associated exhibition spaces in Hamtramck. All media and themes considered, both solo and group shows welcome.
Submit a brief writeup of your proposed idea. You will be asked to supply 10-20 digital samples of your work.
If you are interested in organizing a group show, please include a plan that indicates your selection criteria for participants. If you intend to place an open call for submissions, please also include a timeline and a rough draft of your submission guidelines.
Specify your preferred venue:
The Hatch Art Gallery (3456 Evaline Street) is our main space. Dimensions: 38’ x 13’, plus hanging space in the hallway. All media accepted.
The Jail Cell (3456 Evaline) is our installation space. Dimensions: 14’x11’, includes original jail cell fixtures. Immersive installations preferred.
Café 1923 (2287 Holbrook Street), is a local business with a dining space and stairwell for displaying hanging art.
Work will be reviewed by Hatch gallery directors.
