Photoshop is great, but for photographers Lightroom is easier, effective, and more efficient. The only tricky part is getting started the right way. This workshop will show you the best method to set up Lightroom for yourself, and introduce you to some of the most important functions it offers.
Don't be afraid of new software! Lightroom will organize your thousands of images and allow you to do many of the same edits you do in Photoshop and other programs.
I will be demonstrating live on my own computer for all to see. You do not have to have it on a laptop to take the class-- simply watch, record, take notes, or soak it all in as I do my best to make this both informative and entertaining.
I currently teach photography with Lightroom at Lawrence Tech and Oakland Community College, as well as other workshops at Grosse Point Art Center. I'm an artist, business owner, founder of Hatch, and an academic. See my work at schneida.com.
