There’s nothing as grand as unlocking the secret of human life. Like Dr. Frankenstein assembling his creature from parts of many people, we cut and paste pieces of those we encounter to form the person that we are. May it not end up as a monster, but an unexpected manifestation of ecstasy.
Artists Amy Feigley-Lee and John Corbin form this two-person show. Amy finely slices wallpaper patterns to layer and weaves them into new creations that create the illusion of a complex space. For her, it is a way to connect her past to her future. John created 13 new paintings that blend other artworks plus body parts and painting techniques to unlock secrets.
